Avidly Avant Avanti asked:

I’m considering making it my personal mission in life to encourage as many Indians as possible to convert to Buddhism. I was born and raised in America, but I care deeply about my ancestral homeland. Here’s my questions, and their correct answers:

Is the caste system clearly defended by the scriptures? YES

Is the refusal to eat beef and kill rats dramatically harming India’s development? YES

Does this system involve somewhat racial aspects? YES

Are the overwhelming disparity between the rich and the poor clear remnants of this old system? YES

Was Siddhārtha Gautama (The Buddha) willing to forego a life of wealth to help the poor? YES

Is Buddhism a much more enlightened religion and philosophy than Hinduism is? YES
