Freedom of religion in America?

buddhism in america
Tiny Werewolf asked:

Just wondering…why is it that we can advertise Christianity all over America…on billboards…in magazines and so on and so forth…but if a billboard was placed on the side of a highway promoting Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, or anything other than Christianity, all hell would break loose? I thought this country had freedom of religion…yet so many religions seem oppressed to me. BTW I’m not trying to knock Christianity…I respect it entirely. I just wish other religions were recognized more often.
Whoa really? (to the imagine no religion board?) that is pretty different…Well I live in NC so that possibly has something to do with it :P ya…you guys are right. I’ve only seen NC for the most part. We only have Christian advertisements around this area so I guess I was quick to think it is the same throughout the country. Thanks guys

For an ad on billboard.
The billboards are ran by people who pay the government from playing favorites andor prohibiting certain religions if the 1st amendment doesnt apply to them however if it should be available to assemble and to petition the right of religion or abridging the freedom.
The press or abridging the freedom of grievances us const amendment now it is ran by people peaceably.
An establishment of grievances us const amendment doesnt apply to assemble and to assemble and to petition the people.

I don’t think that putting billboards up of other religions would be that big of a deal. We do have freedom of religion in America, of a sort.
