As someone without faith, I would still disagree with the claims of Buddhists as to how the world works but I would certainly have no fear of them holding dangerous views whatsoever in the way that I would with Christianity.

Buddhism has a few dark scenes but overall, the record is better. I think the primary practice of Buddhism promotes compassion. Christianity has a mystical side that has been suppressed since long ago. The Christianity we seem to hear about today is not everything wonderful that Christianity can be. It seems to me that Buddhism from the outset is about the Being-ness that is God in everyone. Christianity has come to focus on the rules and regulations of the flesh. Unfortunately that same being-ness is also authentic and mature but mostly hidden inside Christianity. In both cases, those who have a more mature sense of God or of Being are pretty quiet about it.
