Neysa asked: I’m reading on the Buddhist experience in America and in a section it explains Buddhist Cosmology, the three major realms. The author didn’t explain in a way that I can visualize it. Do any of you know something about these thirty worlds? From lowest to highest there are: the Realm of Desire, the Realm of Pure Form, and the Formless Realm.

rabble rouser asked: After the Vietnam War - there were many vietnamese who immigrated (legally) to America.
A small amount of Buddhism came to take its place in America at about the same time. (although it could be more related to the “peace” movement).
Will Islam grow in America as the war subsides?
Will American values have more influence on Islam or will it be the other way around?

Tee asked: or politics??
I would say Christianity, but others have disagreed.
I can’t find any good reasons though..like what are the enduring practices, morals, or lessons learned from it that we still reflect on today? Basically, what impact has it had on America?

Melissa K asked: I mean, look at buddhism- they are calm, lead happy lives, don’t try to force people to convert or tell them that they need God. Surely religion is about finding peace with your inner soul and appreciating the chance you were given to live?
PS:I’m an Atheist.
