All three major religions that are directly related to each other - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - teach love and peace. Yet, we have seen throughout history and into the present day, behavior from those religions that is the direct opposite of those teachings. Each of them have participated in persecution, discrimination, terrorist activity and open warfare against those who do not believe as they do. They judge and condemn others who do not practice as they do. Where is the love and acceptance that they so readily preach? Is it a case of “Do as I say and not as I do?” It seems that only Buddhism appears to be the one religion that actually practices kindness and compassion to all.
